Daniel Ortiz is a lifelong New Yorker, he was born at Methodist Hospital in Park Slope and has spent the majority of his life residing there. His interest in real estate began when he was just 12 years old and would help his parents (who didn’t speak much English) show apartments in the properties they own.

Daniel always had a special appreciation for the architecture and details of the spaces Brooklyn offered. He spent many days just walking around The Slope and neighboring areas snapping photographs of the brownstones and historic structures.

Daniel's formal real estate career started right out of high school - his graduation gift to himself was getting his real estate license. Right after high school, Daniel left Brooklyn to attend Adelphi University in Garden City, LI and pursued a B. A. in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. Throughout college Daniel worked very hard learning the ins and outs of the real estate industry along side some of the top producing agents on Long Island. He worked for some of the oldest, largest and most productive firms and learned more than he could ever have imagined. He began his career working exclusively in the commercial aspect of the industry, spending the better part of two years focusing his efforts on every transaction from a small storefront rental to the sale of an entire block long strip center.

Daniel has joined many boards, committees and taken various continuing education and certification courses so that he’d be better prepared to assist his clients with whatever they might need. After seeing how great the real estate business is and how much more there was out there for him to do, he decided he shouldn’t limit himself to just commercial deals but that he should share his knowledge and expertise with the entire real estate community.

At the start of 2008, Daniel decided to return home to Brooklyn, so that he might be closer to his family, keep a better eye on the properties he manages for them, become more active in his church and so that he could spend more time in the city that he loves and has always called home - Brooklyn. Daniel has a unique point of view when it comes to real estate, since he’s been on every side of just about any transaction you can think of, he has the know how, patience and drive to get the job done! He will work hard to make sure it’s done right the first time!
